Abstract

In the fully edentulous mandible, the anterior part was restored by implant?supported fixed restoration as abutments for RPD, and the posterior part of the mandible was restored by distal extension conventional removable partial denture which can eliminate posterior cantilever. For doing this treatment, precise implant positioning was essential and CT-based guide implant template was very helpful to place implants in proper planned position. During prosthetic phase, prostheses design on virtual model can be converted to the try-in restoration by 3D printing for confirm vertical dimension, esthetics and phonetics. Properly used digital technology can help to reduce problems during comprehensive treatment like combination of implant-supported fixed prostheses and removable partial denture.
